Disabled Access

Disabled Sign The festival is indoors and disabled access is possible, but limited, due to the nature of the building.

The main entrance of the USC is accessed via two large steps, however, ramped access to the ground floor is available, via a side entrance. Our stewarding team will be please to provide any assistance needed.

The ground floor of the USC has mixture of hard flooring and fitted carpets, so there may be some very small ridges to negotiate and there are some tight doorways.

There are no toilet facilities for disabled visitors in the USC, however, facilities are available at the University Centre, our stewarding team (distinguished by their bright yellow clothing) will be please to provide any assistance needed.

If you would like assistance at any point please ask a member of the stewarding team (distinguished by their bright yellow clothing) or any other volunteer for assistance.

If a request is made in advance, a volunteer can be assigned to help you throughout your visit, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Winter Ale Festival

The Winter Ale Festival is predominantly held in the upstairs bar area, however, there is no lift available, our stewarding team (distinguished by their bright yellow clothing) or any other volunteer will be pleased to provide any assistance needed. There is further smaller bar at the rear of the building, however, access is via a narrow corridor and is limited, again our stewarding team (distinguished by their bright yellow clothing) or any other volunteer will be pleased to provide any assistance needed.

Cambridge Octoberfest

The Cambridge Octoberfest is held in the upstairs bar area, however, there is no lift available, our stewarding team (distinguished by their bright yellow clothing) or any other volunteer will be pleased to provide any assistance needed.
